This simplified version of the famous Indian spice mix, Garam Masala, has a warm spicy flavor and the star ingredients are turmeric and coriander seeds. Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant that is best absorbed when combined with black pepper. Coriander seeds help lower blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and bad cholesterol. Use this Indian spice mix in curries, soups, rice and samosas.
