Gluten-Free Cacao and Banana Pancakes

Pancakes are a breakfast favorite and these cacao and banana pancakes provide many essential nutrients without any added sugars or fats. They’re gluten-free, rich in vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and are a great source of high-quality protein.

Garnish these guilt-free pancakes with fresh fruit, nuts, and yogurt and have them for breakfast or as a pre or post-workout snack. For an indulgent but still healthy snack, melt 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter and drizzle on top!

Gluten-Free Cacao and Banana Pancakes Recipe

Prep Time: 5 min  |  Cook Time: 10 min  |  Yields: 6 pancakes

Ingredients

+ 2 bananas
+ 2 eggs
+ 3/4 cup homemade yogurt
+ 1/2 cup rice flour
+ 2 tbsp raw cacao powder

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Lightly coat a nonstick skillet with coconut oil and heat over medium-low heat. Pour or scoop batter onto pan, using about 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides, about 1 minute. Enjoy!
