Pancakes are a breakfast favorite and these cacao and banana pancakes provide many essential nutrients without any added sugars or fats. They’re gluten-free, rich in vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and are a great source of high-quality protein.
Garnish these guilt-free pancakes with fresh fruit, nuts, and yogurt and have them for breakfast or as a pre or post-workout snack. For an indulgent but still healthy snack, melt 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter and drizzle on top!
Raw cacao is a superfood that is extremely rich in antioxidants, an amazing source of iron, magnesium, and calcium, and is a natural mood elevator and anti-depressant. Bananas are also an excellent source of magnesium and potassium, which help relax overstressed muscles, and they contain tryptophan, that has a relaxing effect on the body.
